Coaching

"Coaching" is a disclosure of a human's potential to maximize his/her efficiency. Coaching does not teach, but helps learning (Timothy Gallway)

Coaching is a technique created at the intersection of psychology, management, philosophy and logic that is used to improve the efficiency and revelation of the person’s potential to solve his/her personal and business tasks. In other words, coaching is a process of identifying goals of the person and developing the best ways to achieve them. Coaching is represented by a form of advisory support, which helps a person to achieve significant goals within the reasonable time by mobilization of internal potential, development of the necessary expertise and new skills.

Scope of coaching application:
- Personnel training and development
- Non-financial motivation
- Increase of management efficiency
- Search for new ideas
- Determination of the company's development strategy
- Consolidation of the team, career growth
- Increase of revenue
- Development of the company

Coaching is mostly demanded by the top officials of the company, since exactly managers need to make decisions and take responsibility for them. It helps to
- Look at the situation from different angles
- Find a few ways to solve the problems
- Analyze and make the best decision
- Make a plan of actions

Who is a coach?
Coach is a person who contributes to other people achieving the goals set by them. The prospect of a coach is pushing people forward, giving them a boundless faith in their own strength, the desire to be fully devoted to the case in order to get the result. The coach must possess not only the knowledge of psychology and management, but also have his/her own rich experience in the professional field where the customer operates. The coach should be only an expert in processes, and it may know nothing about the client's professional field (such knowledge is considered as a potential disadvantage).
